About St. Matthew Lutheran School

St. Matthew Lutheran School is a Christian school that promotes spiritual growth for the entire family.  Our school offers a Christ-centered education for children in Grades Preschool through Eighth Grade.  Our school is a ministry of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, a dynamic Bible-based multi-site congregation. 

Our school mission statement is as follows:

St.  Matthew Lutheran School will help fulfill our church mission statement of “making more and better disciples” by assisting parents in leading their children to a growing relationship with Jesus, along with the education, knowledge and skills to live in service to God, community, and the world.

Our main priority is to provide a quality Christian education for each of our students that has eternal benefits.  Our teachers are highly qualified and state certified to ensure that state benchmarks and NLSA accreditation standards are successfully met.  We offer a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a family atmosphere.  Our goal is to cultivate a process of lifelong discipleship. Becoming sensitive to the needs of others and learning how to share the love of Christ is the focus of numerous school-wide outreach opportunities that we offer.
