Amy Weston

Seventh Grade Homeroom Teacher

Mrs. Weston earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University - Ann Arbor MI, and her Master in Humanities from Central Michigan University - Mt. Pleasant MI. Beyond the pleasant seventh grade homeroom responsibilities, she enjoys studying God's Word within her small group, maintaining a snail mail card ministry of spiritual encouragement, and spending leisurely hours with her family. Mrs. Weston also enjoys helping Mrs. Palka lead our youngest DI team, the Rising Stars.  Mrs. Weston teaches our departmentalized Upper Grade Language Arts classes.

  • "Mrs. Weston - Sitting here trying to write three sentences about such an amazingly complex person has me stumped, but there is one thing I am sure of - she is the best teacher I have had.  She has always been there for me, comforting me, and even pushing me further out of my comfort zone than I could have ever expected.  Not only is she a great teacher, but also an inspiring spiritual leader who has helped me tremendously in my faith walk with Christ in my past years at St. Matthew." ~ Aliyah Smukala, Grade 8
  • "Mrs. Amy Weston is a kind, loving, and dedicated teacher who cares deeply about each student's spiritual and scholastic growth, as well as their emotional well-being.  Her engaging and always professional teaching style brings out the best in each child.  Mrs. Weston is an extraordinary teacher who expertly prepares her students in English and in Literature for their challenging high school years ahead." ~ Mrs. Cindy Stults
