What An Incre-DI-ble Night!

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."  Philippians 4:13

Last Saturday, 55 students from St. Matthew Lutheran School permeated that hallways of Waterford Mott High School to participate in the Destination Imagination Region One Tournament.  Wearing their "Do Something" themed shirts, each team was prepared to do something creative for Jesus! By the end of the day, every team did a fantastic job representing our school and our Savior.  Listed below are the results:

1st and 2nd Rising Stars - Do not officially compete but they did a wonderful job performing their skit about puppies using simple and complex machines to "Save the Day"!

3rd Grade Bredernitz/Topel team - 9th place
3rd Grade Andrews/Palka team - 3rd place and moving on to the State tournament
5th Grade Lahue/Engel team - 1st place and moving on to the State tournament
6th Grade Lahue/Engel team - 6th place
7th Grade Rohman team - 4th place and moving on to the State tournament
8th Grade Millspaugh team - 2nd place and moving on to the State tournament

Congratulations to all of the teams for their amazing accomplishments! We thank God for the parents, appraisers, volunteers and coaches who made this DI season such a wonderful experience!

In Jesus,
Mrs. Palka
